At Clearwater Haven, the bush meets the sea--and outdoors is part of the holiday.
The property spans 107 acres of countryside, including around 30 acres of native bushland, mature gum trees and native grass trees to explore, with an entrance on the property to a secluded beach.
Leave the car at home and follow the bush track across your own property to approximately 7 km of sandy coastline.
Just 200 metres from the front door is the sandy shores of Nepean Bay. Walk along the shoreline, try your hand at fishing, explore the shallows or simply enjoy the space and quiet.
The beach is wonderful for long walks, beachcombing, fishing, kayaking and swimming. A council-maintained boat launch is 1 km away.

Kangaroos and wallabies regularly visit the property. You may also spot echidnas and a variety of native birds. Early morning and late afternoon are beautiful times to explore and watch for wildlife.
Not every day needs an itinerary.
Enjoy morning coffee, long lunches and sunset drinks on the large deck. Fire up the barbecue, prepare the day's catch or settle in with a book while the bush and wildlife provide the backdrop.
And when the sun goes down, clear nights offer an opportunity to enjoy Kangaroo Island's dark skies and stargaze from the property.
